The grain on this piece shows exceptional depth of colour and structure due to light spalting, (meaning the living tree was at one point attacked by fungus.)
We recommend against using this bowl for food but it is suitable for displaying fruit, wrapped sweets, and possessions. Take care when displaying valuable or delicate items! This design can be knocked over.
